This project centers the Filipino community by combining data and community insights to better understand local needs, strengths, and opportunities across Sacramento County.
This project focuses on building a comprehensive, data-driven understanding of the Filipino population across Sacramento County and its key cities. The goal is to surface accurate demographic, economic, and social insights that can inform community-centered planning, advocacy, and resource allocation.Using publicly available data sources alongside community-based survey inputs, the project utilizes a variety research and data methodologies. Findings are analyzed both at the county level and within individual cities, with additional attention given to geographic concentration through key ZIP codes. The final outcome is a clear, accessible report that translates complex data into actionable insights. Designed for decision-makers, advocates, and community stakeholders, the report supports more informed strategies that reflect the lived realities and needs of Filipino residents in the region.
